Designed by Theo Ruth (1915 -1971) for Artifort in 1958, the mid-century Model 115 lounge chair features a thick cushioned seat and curved, reclined backrest providing ultimate comfort, while the sculptural lines of the design reflect Ruth’s mastery of balance and proportion. Retaining its original solid wooden frame, the piece has been professionally reupholstered in “Mountain Tiger,” an Italian jacquard velvet by Dedar, adding a bold, tactile statement to its sleek form.
