With the 5050 Shaker, Sottsass reinterprets the classic American cocktail shaker. Including two separable steel glasses, the 5050 Shaker compliments the agile and rapid motion of the mixologist – whether they be amateur or professional – and no home bar should be without one.

The 871 Ice Bucket and the 5055 Ice Tongs work well with the 5050 Shaker and are both also available from saltsmillshop.

About Ettore Sottsass:

Born in Innsbruck in 1917, Sottsass is known the world over as one of the initiators of the revolution in architecture and design which led away from the rigid functionalism of the years prior to and following the Second World War. A great and influential Maestro of Italian design, the energy of his language and the vitality of his colour and line contrast sharply with any intellectualism and rigidity. He died in December 2007.
