The beautifully simple design of the Detecta-Eco Pen is comprised of only two main components, the pen body and the ink cartridge, both of which are fully detectable. The unique hexagonal design of the pen body minimises the risk of the pen rolling and potentially falling off work surfaces. 

It is moulded from an advanced polypropylene based compound, optimised for metal and x-ray detection in the food and pharmaceutical industries. This compound also incorporates silver ion antibacterial technology, which is effective against harmful bacteria and mould, including but not limited to, EColi, MRSA and Salmonella.

The ink cartridge is manufactured from solid brass, with a choice of either a nickel-plated or brass writing nib. Both the nickel-plated and brass nibs contain a 1mm stainless steel writing ball. The high quality ink cartridge means the pen offers a smooth and smudge free writing experience.

The Eco Pen is also available with or without a clip. Please note that the clip does not constitute an additional pen component, as our clipped pens are moulded from one piece of material, meaning the clip will not fall off and become a potential contaminant.
